We have a current vacancy for a Supply and Distribution Manager to join our Artarmon, NSW team in a full time role. Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Supply and Distribution Manager to lead and optimise our procurement, storage, and logistics operations. This role is critical in ensuring seamless inventory management, cost-effective supplier agreements, and timely product distribution across domestic and international markets. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with proven leadership skills and the ability to drive operational excellence within a dynamic supply chain environment. Key Responsibilities : Strategic Supply Chain Management: Develop and implement purchasing, warehousing, and distribution strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs. Inventory Planning & Optimisation: Establish and maintain processes to ensure optimal stock levels, minimising excess inventory and shortages. Vendor & Supplier Negotiations: Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, negotiating contracts that meet quality, pricing, and delivery objectives. Warehouse Operations: Oversee storage systems and inventory tracking to ensure accuracy, safety, and efficiency in handling goods. Logistics & Distribution: Manage the end-to-end flow of goods, ensuring timely replenishment, accurate dispatch, and smooth delivery to customers. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with internal departments and external clients to coordinate logistics, outbound shipments, and customer requirements. International Operations: Lead international sourcing and distribution efforts, coordinating with global suppliers and clients while ensuring compliance with import/export regulations. Leadership & Team Development: Supervise, mentor, and develop a high performing team, including a Warehouse Manager and delivery contractors, to achieve operational targets and continuous improvement goals. Customer Service Excellence: Ensure distribution processes align with customer expectations, enhancing overall satisfaction and service levels. Skills & Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field. Minimum 5 years' experience in supply chain, logistics, or warehouse management. Expertise in inventory planning, procurement, and supplier negotiations. Proven track record in managing international supply chains and overseas shipments. Experience managing teams including warehouse operations and delivery contractors. Proficient in logistics software, data analytics, and reporting tools. Strong leadership abilities with experience managing and developing teams. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. In-depth knowledge of transport regulations, compliance standards, and best practices in distribution management.
