Description We’re looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join our Telecommunications Supply Chain team on a 9-month contract , reporting to the Supply Chain Advisor. This full-time role is responsible for coordinating materials between supply chain, subcontractors, and customers to ensure best-in-class DIFOT performance. You’ll work closely with national warehousing, subcontractors, and project delivery teams, keeping materials flowing efficiently and safely across a diverse, fast-moving project environment. This role is critical to ensuring our customers receive the right materials, at the right time, with Zero Harm at the centre of everything we do. What you’ll do In this role, you will: • Coordinate material availability to meet construction and project requirements • Monitor stock, minimise stock-out risks, and support infield transfers and returns • Communicate closely with subcontractors, warehouse teams and key stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely supply • Support DIFOT performance by identifying risks, opportunities and improvements • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, warehouse and supply chain procedures What we offer • A 9-month contract within a supportive, collaborative supply chain team • Competitive remuneration and opportunities to gain experience across major national projects • Strong focus on internal mobility, growth and redeployment opportunities • Exposure to a Tier 1 ASX-listed business with industry-leading supply chain capability What we’re looking for We’re seeking someone who brings strong coordination ability, attention to detail, and the confidence to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders. You will ideally have: • 3 years’ experience in stock management, transport planning or sales operations • Strong customer service focus and ability to work within diverse project environments • Intermediate to advanced Excel capability • Experience managing material requisitions, stock monitoring and supplier/subcontractor communication • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently and within a team About Energy & Utilities Downer's Energy & Utilities business is an integrated trans-Tasman team delivering essential services across water, electricity, telecommunications, industrial and power generation networks.
