With a booming, culturally rich and diverse community, and less than an hourâs drive from the CBD (still within the bounds of Myki and ride-sharing), Melbourneâs North is fast becoming the place to be.   Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Learning, Organisational Capability and Experience Consultant to join the Learning, Organisational Capability & Experience team within People & Culture team.   About Northern Health: Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourneâs rapidly growing outer north.  Services are provided through our five main campuses: Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn Centre, and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg.  About the Role: The Learning, Organisational Capability and Experience Consultant supports the development of a high-performing, patient-centred workforce by designing, developing and implementing learning and organisational capability strategies that build clinical and non-clinical capability across the organisation.  Working in partnership with health leaders, educators and frontline teams, this role identifies capability gaps, enhances workforce development, and fosters a culture of continuous learning to improve service delivery, staff engagement and patient outcomes.  This role is responsible for: Leading the design and delivery of strategic learning initiatives aligned with organisational priorities and workforce needs. Collaborating with key stakeholders to assess current and future capability requirements across clinical and non-clinical domains. Developing frameworks, tools and resources that enable capability uplift and support career development pathways. Embedding principles of inclusive, adult-centred learning and contemporary educational practice. Supporting change management and transformation initiatives through capability building and staff engagement. Measuring the impact of learning and capability programs to ensure effectiveness and continuous improvement. Championing a positive learning experience across the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to leadership development.  To be successful in this role you will have:  Experience and good working knowledge of  contemporary learning and development practices, organisational capability frameworks and workforce planning within a hospital or healthcare environment. This includes understanding the complexities of clinical and non-clinical workforce needs, and aligning capability development with strategic health service priorities. Proven ability to  design, deliver and evaluate impactful learning and capability-building initiatives that enhance workforce performance, support staff engagement and drive continuous improvement in patient care. Skilled at leading end-to-end learning solutionsâfrom needs analysis to implementation and measurement. Demonstrated  success in building collaborative relationships with clinical leaders, educators, and frontline staff to co-design programs that are relevant, inclusive and aligned with organisational values. Experienced in navigating change and supporting capability uplift in dynamic and complex environments. Well-developed  communication, facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and guide diverse teams, lead workshops and present insights to executive and operational leaders. Strong analytical and project management skills, with a commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous improvement.  This is a full-time, ongoing position offering a salary range of $92,800â$102,600 , based on experience. The role is worked over 80 hours per fortnight and includes a monthly Accrued Day Off (ADO) .
