Semi Driver (Malaga/Balcatta) Job Overview: We are seeking skilled Semi Drivers for our Malaga and Balcatta locations. The ideal candidates will have specific experience and expertise tailored to each location's requirements. For Malaga, end tipper experience and the ability to drive a Road Ranger are essential. For Balcatta, experience with a walking floor trailer and auto trucks is required. Key Responsibilities: Operate a semi-truck for bulk verge collection services at either Malaga or Balcatta For Malaga: Utilize end tipper experience and preferably drive a Road Ranger For Balcatta: Operate a walking floor trailer with auto trucks Perform frequent in-and-out truck activities to assist with collections Ensure safe and efficient operation of the semi-truck Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of the vehicle Adhere to all safety protocols and road regulations Assist with loading and unloading materials as required Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and services performed Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors Requirements: Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) Specific experience based on location: Malaga: End tipper experience and preferably the ability to drive a Road Ranger Balcatta: Experience with a walking floor trailer and auto trucks Strong understanding of road safety regulations Excellent driving record with no recent traffic violations Ability to handle physical tasks, including frequent truck exits and entries Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team Physical Requirements: Ability to operate heavy machinery for extended periods Comfortable with physical labor, including getting in and out of the truck frequently Capable of working in various weather conditions Benefits: Competitive pay rates Opportunities for overtime with time and a half pay Supportive team environment Potential for career growth and development Casual rate: $38.50 per hour flat.
