About the Role As Commercial Manager – EWIS LAND , you’ll take the lead in shaping commercial strategies and delivering fit-for purpose outcomes across Electromagnetic Warfare products and sustainment projects. This role is perfect for a dynamic leader who thrives on solving complex problems and managing multiple priorities in a high-stakes Defence environment. You’ll oversee procurement, contracting, and financial management, while guiding a diverse team of APS, ADF, and industry professionals. Your ability to negotiate complex support contracts, foster strong stakeholder relationships, and ensure compliance with Commonwealth legislation will be key to success. Responsibilities Lead commercial, contracting, procurement, and financial management processes. Analyse complex problems and tailor solutions for EWIS-L SPO product support. Apply CASG contractual mechanisms and Defence procurement policies. Manage: Complex and In-Service Support procurement Contract development and performance management Budget development and financial planning Risk management and business governance Asset accounting and logistics support Project and product management across lifecycle stages Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business, Legal, or Finance (or equivalent experience). Prior experience in Defence commercial management (Industry and/or Government). Working knowledge of ASDEFCON suite. Strong financial planning, pricing, and contract administration skills. Advanced spreadsheet modelling capability. Familiarity with export controls and ITAR compliance (desirable). Security Requirements Australian Citizenship. Ability to obtain a Negative Vetting 2 Defence security clearance or higher.
