Description This is an excellent full time, fixed term opportunity until October 2027 to contribute to health and recreation outcomes within the community. The position involves working collaboratively across teams, liaising with internal and external stakeholders and supporting effective leadership, communication and reporting. This role is responsible for the overall care, control, and daily operations of the Golden Grove Recreation & Arts Centre, including: Leading both the Customer Service and Arts Centre teams to ensure the smooth delivery of programs, services, and events. Day-to-day coordination of administrative operations. Effective allocation of resources. Oversight of external contractors to support the Centre’s successful operation. The Team Leader Golden Grove Recreation and Arts Centre will play a key role in facilitating, maintaining and further enhancing these areas, ensuing alignment with Councils management operating framework. Have the ability to plan, prioritise and meet competing deadlines. Have excellent communication skills. Have sound knowledge of sport/recreation centre/theatre nuances. Show initiative, problem solving capability and the ability to work independently. Hold and maintain a valid DHS Working with Children Check. Hold a South Australian Class C Driver's Licence.
