Your Impact As our Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical systems that keep our manufacturing facilities running efficiently. You'll provide technical expertise and leadership to manage risk, verify compliance, and maintain operational integrity of electrical equipment to elevate safety, and ensure ongoing compliance and improvements across our network. This is an exciting, newly created National position, for a technical expert adept in influencing tactical change, building capability across a diverse supply chain network, with an eye for compliance. Key Responsibilities Design and implement electrical systems for manufacturing equipment and facilities Lead engineering projects from concept through to commissioning Troubleshoot complex electrical issues and develop effective solutions Collaborate with maintenance teams to optimize equipment performance Ensure all electrical work meets safety standards and regulatory requirements Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to project teams Support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations About You Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial electrical engineering and hazardous areas Strong knowledge of PLC programming, motor control systems, and industrial automation Experience with project management and leading technical teams Understanding of ANZ OHS/WHS legislation and electrical safety requirements Hazardous area competencies in line with EEHA standards: Design, Installation, Maintenance, and Inspection/Audit. Proficiency in electrical design software and technical documentation (e.g., AutoCAD, EDR, or similar). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively Ideally, you will also be: Registered Professional Engineer (RPEng) / Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) (desirable). Experience in Static Electricity Assessments (SEA) and Static Electricity Control Plans (SEC-P) (desirable) Why Asahi Beverages?
