Business Analyst - AI Workflow Optimisation A leading Australian retailer is refining the way AI and automation are used across its operations. This role focuses on analysing, streamlining and improving complex AI prompt flows, helping to create simpler, smarter and more efficient processes. If you enjoy taking messy thinking and turning it into clean processes, this role will suit you perfectly. You’ll help make AI outputs more consistent, workflows easier to follow, and documentation clear for all stakeholders. Contract duration: 6 months, with strong potential for extension Pay rate: Up to $860 per day (including super) Location: Greater Western Sydney, 2153 Work arrangement: Hybrid: 3 days in the office, 2 days from home What you'll be doing Analyse existing AI workflows and prompt structures to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities Redesign and document logic flows in a clear, structured and consistent way Work closely with product, engineering and business teams to ensure changes are practical and effective Translate technical information into clear language and usable documentation Test and validate revised flows to confirm functionality and accuracy Support standardisation across multiple AI workflows to create scalable frameworks What you'll bring Proven experience as a business analyst, ideally with exposure to workflow optimisation and process simplification Strong written communication skills to translate complex AI prompt logic into clear, structured documentation Experience with AI tools or automation platforms; familiarity with Google AI tools is a plus Retail experience is advantageous, especially in understanding enterprise or customer-facing systems Analytical and detail-oriented mindset, able to spot inefficiencies and simplify complex logic Comfortable collaborating and communicating with multiple stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams Curious and proactive, with a focus on practical solutions and continuous improvement This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-regarded Australian retailer and contribute to a team that delivers real impact every day.
