Are you an experienced Project Manager with a passion for delivering complex HR and workforce management systems? Our client, a leading not-for-profit organisation in Melbourne, is seeking a skilled Project Manager to drive the final stages of their HCMS Dayforce implementation and lead the delivery of Phase 2 initiatives. About the Role This is a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact on an organisation that supports both staff and volunteers. You will be responsible for overseeing the go-live readiness, hypercare, and transition to business-as-usual for Phase 1 (Payroll, WFM, Talent), as well as delivering Phase 2 modules, including Rostering & LMS for Members and Volunteers, Succession, Performance, and Compensation. Start date: 2nd February 2026 Contract: 11 months Fixed Term Location: Box Hill, VIC (Hybrid) Key Responsibilities Manage the full project lifecycle for Rostering and Payroll initiatives, including stakeholder engagement, vendor management, and delivery oversight. Lead hypercare and go-live phases (April–October timeline), ensuring seamless transition to BAU. Drive Phase 2 implementation for rostering and volunteer-focused systems. Manage vendors and consultants to ensure deliverables are met on time, within scope, and budget. Deliver or coordinate training sessions and workshops to support adoption. Support change management initiatives to ensure successful workforce adoption. Track and report on project progress, risks, and financials. About You Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification and/or extensive project management experience. Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field preferred. Extensive experience delivering HCMS implementations, ideally including rostering, systems integration, and volunteer workforce deployment. Experience in the not-for-profit sector highly desirable. Proven ability to lead, influence, and motivate project teams to deliver outcomes on time and budget. Knowledge across HCMS (Dayforce ideally). Strong vendor management experience and the ability to manage project financials (up to $5m budget). Experienced in supporting change management initiatives and workforce adoption.
