Description We are seeking motivated and experienced Patient Food Services Assistant Supervisors to support the Patient Kitchen Coordinator in supervising kitchen staff and ensuring the safe, efficient delivery of high-quality food services to patients. This is a full-time position requiring full working rights and the flexibility to work morning and afternoon shifts, across a 7 day rotating roster. What you’ll do: • Supervise and support Patient Food Services staff on shift, ensuring clear communication and effective teamwork. • Ensure compliance with HACCP food safety plans, food hygiene standards, and infection control protocols. • Oversee safe storage, preparation, and presentation of patient meals according to menu and quality standards. • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of food preparation areas and equipment, adhering to health and safety requirements. • Report and escalate staff issues, incidents, and equipment faults to management promptly. What you’ll bring: • Food Hygiene Certificate or equivalent (Infection Control Certificate desirable). • Previous experience leading a team in food service or kitchen operations; healthcare environment experience preferred. • Strong communication, time management, and organisational skills. • Positive, flexible attitude with a commitment to safety and quality improvement. • Professional presentation and adherence to uniform and hygiene standards.
