About the role Service Stream’s Utilities division is seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to join our Brisbane team on a full-time, permanent basis. The role is responsible for safely and efficiently performing electrical and instrumentation maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repairs on water and wastewater infrastructure to ensure reliable performance and regulatory compliance. The technician will also support minor works and capital installation projects and may participate in commissioning and decommissioning of assets and plants. Key responsibilities include performing planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, and providing technical support to engineers, clients, and production teams. The role requires collaboration across disciplines to maintain continuous operation of critical infrastructure, fostering teamwork, safety, and operational excellence. The technician will also contribute to budget management, promote best practices, support apprentices, and uphold a positive, inclusive, and values-driven workplace culture focused on safety, efficiency, and community outcomes. Skills and qualifications Current Drivers Licence Experience in the Water industry or similar industry (Desirable) Experience with plant and equipment associated with wastewater treatment plants and pumping stations.
