Permanent part-time role (approx. 30 hours a week) Based at Scots Early Learning, Hobart Hourly rate super salary packaging benefits Your new role We’re looking for an enthusiastic Cook to join our team at Scots Early Learning. In this role, you’ll plan and prepare healthy, balanced meals and snacks for children each day. You’ll consider allergies, special dietary needs, and cultural requirements to make sure every child enjoys nutritious food that supports their growth and wellbeing. As part of the Uniting Early Learning team, you’ll work closely with educators to support learning through food experiences and ensure the kitchen operates to the highest standards of safety, hygiene, and care. Plan menus that meet nutrition guidelines and children’s needs Prepare and serve morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea Cater for allergies, intolerances, and cultural food requirements Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming kitchen environment Manage stock, food orders, and records in line with food safety standards What’s on offer Permanent part-time hours (approx. 30 per week) Hourly rate based on CSA Support Worker Level super Access to salary packaging , which can increase your take-home pay Be part of a welcoming, values-driven team that supports children and families every day About you You’re organised, reliable, and passionate about providing nutritious food that helps children thrive. You work well as part of a team and understand the importance of food safety, hygiene, and inclusive meal planning.
