The Role We are seeking a skilled and certified NDT Technician to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis located in Smithfield, NSW . You will have good knowledge as an NDT Technician, proven application of health and safety, and the ability to meet deadlines. A good level of skills with O365 suite is advantageous, as is an ability to complete reports and other documentation accurately with attention to detail. Forming part of a skilled and high performing Inspections team, you will have the support of a progressive and experienced management team and be exposed to a variety of interesting and challenging work environments. Key Responsibilities: Liaise with clients and provide clear and concise results and information as required Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records Analyse data to identify defects or irregularities Set up and calibrate NDT equipment to ensure accurate results Work closely with engineers to discuss existing or potential issues and preventative measures The Successful Applicant Will Ideally Have: Current NDT qualifications such as ISO 9712, MT2, PT2, UT2, ET2, RT2, IRIS, PAUT/TOFT, SLOFEC methods Experience in NDT inspections for at least 5 years Weld Inspection, AICIP, API 510, API 653, IRATA (advantageous) A valid full Driver License Australian working rights Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including a drug & alcohol screen We Offer: Competitive rates allowances Corporate discounts for travel and health insurance Professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge A collaborative and inclusive work environment SRG Global are dedicated to achieving a diverse workforce and strongly encourage applications from women, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders.
