Role Overview Mercor is teaming up with a leading AI research lab to advance multimodal machine learning , which helps AI interpret visual inputs alongside audio. We are hiring attentive freelancers to review short video and audio samples and compare AI outputs. This is a short-term, remote role offering flexible hours. Your evaluations will help increase system accuracy and reliability. Eligibility Applicants must be located in the United States (excluding California, Connecticut, Washington, and the District of Columbia), United Kingdom , Canada , or Australia . Responsibilities Assess audio, image, and video content using provided criteria. Choose the best AI output among the candidates provided. Add simple tags and annotations to enrich training datasets. Apply standardized guidelines for consistent and high-quality results. Qualifications Fluent in English (native or near-native). Careful attention to detail and clear, concise writing. Reliable execution of instructions and quality thresholds. Ability to work independently on repetitive review tasks. Engagement & Schedule Work is performed remotely and on an asynchronous basis. The engagement is contract-based and limited in duration. Hours may vary according to the volume of tasks available. Compensation & Contract Pay is $16 per hour for time spent on tasks. Payouts are processed weekly via Stripe Connect. The role is structured as an independent contractor engagement.
