Role Overview Mercor is collaborating with a leading AI research lab to advance multimodal machine learning , enabling AI systems to understand both visual and audio information. We are hiring careful, detail-driven freelancers to review short clips and compare AI-generated results. This is a short-term, remote role with flexible hours. Your assessments will help raise the accuracy and reliability of modern AI models. Eligibility Applicants should reside in: United States (excluding California, Connecticut, Washington, and the District of Columbia), United Kingdom , Canada , or Australia . Responsibilities Evaluate audio, image, and video samples against clear criteria. Compare candidate outputs and select the strongest result. Provide light annotations and tagging to aid training and benchmarking. Apply project guidelines to keep ratings consistent across raters. Qualifications Fluent in English (native or near-native). Excellent attention to detail and concise, professional writing. Consistent follow-through on instructions and quality thresholds. Self-directed and comfortable with repetitive review work. Engagement & Schedule Work remotely on an asynchronous schedule that suits you. This is a contracted assignment for a limited term. Task volume may fluctuate from week to week. Compensation & Contract The pay rate is $16 per hour for eligible task time. Weekly payouts are issued via Stripe Connect. Engagement is as an independent contractor.
