Role Overview Mercor has partnered with a prominent AI research lab to strengthen multimodal machine learning , enabling systems to make sense of visuals and sound. We are recruiting meticulous freelancers to review short clips and evaluate AI-generated outputs. This is a short-term, remote role with flexible hours. Your input will help improve accuracy and reliability across models. Eligibility Eligible locations include the United States (excluding California, Connecticut, Washington, and the District of Columbia), United Kingdom , Canada , and Australia . Responsibilities Review multimedia items (audio, images, and video) against defined standards. Compare alternative outputs and select the highest-quality result. Provide tags and annotations to support training and benchmarking efforts. Follow project guidelines to promote consistency among raters. Qualifications Fluent in English (native or near-native). Detail-driven work style and professional written communication. Dependable adherence to instructions and quality metrics. Self-motivated and comfortable with repetitive tasks. Engagement & Schedule Fully remote and asynchronous; you control your schedule. Contract-based engagement for a limited time period. Workload may vary with the flow of available tasks. Compensation & Contract The role pays $16 per hour for task time. Payments are issued weekly through Stripe Connect. Engagement is on an independent contractor basis.
