Do work that matters : The role is a Staff Platform Engineer in the Infrastructure Controls Automation Portfolio which consists of the Control Attestation Framework service, and a leveraged Infrastructure Automation environment. The portfolio and services are enabling the bank to increase our visibility and improve our management for IT Service Control compliance, improving our engineering and operational delivery across Infrastructure through increased Automation. We’re interested in hearing from people who : Are passionate about building, developing and deploying high quality and secure Automation solutions Are actively involved in continuous learning, experimentation and innovation while contributing to the definition & governance of our standards and best practices Are ready to apply and promote industry best patterns and practices, driving high quality outcomes to solve core business objectives Constantly think outside the box and breaking boundaries to solve complex technical problems Tech skills : Demonstrated experience in Redhat Ansible Automation Should have an AWS Cloud certification( AWS Solutions Architect Associate or AWS Security Speciality or AWS Developer Associate) Extensive experience managing, provisioning, and scaling AWS cloud infrastructure Experience with containerisation ,virtualisation and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes etc.) for system scalability and reliability Scripting/programming languages (e.g. PowerShell, Bash, Python). Proficiency in monitoring tools such as PagerDuty, Observe, Grafana, Prometheus. Ability to work in a dynamic team environment. Experience in CI/CD(GithubActions and Jenkins), Source Control (git) Understanding of DevSecOps principles including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and security automation. Understanding and Experience in Secure Coding Practices for Solution Design and Delivery. Experience in Linux and/or Windows administration. A passion for automation, orchestration and leaving nothing to be manual. Experience with mentoring and guiding junior engineers across a range of technologies. play a key role in setting and maintaining high operational standards through clear, scalable procedures that others can follow Any experience in adopting Gen AI on above tool set is a plus.
