The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring they are well-maintained, tenanted, and compliant with South Australian regulations. Key Responsibilities Property Portfolio Management: Manage a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring all properties are maintained to a high standard Tenant Relations: Act as the main point of contact for tenants, addressing their enquiries and concerns promptly and professionally. Lease Management: Prepare and manage lease agreements, renewals, and terminations in accordance with South Australian legislation. Inspections: Conduct routine property inspections, prepare condition reports, and arrange necessary repairs or maintenance. Financial Management: Manage rental income, arrears, and outgoings. Provide regular financial reports to property owners. Compliance: Ensure properties meet all legal and safety standards, including smoke alarms, pool safety, and landlord insurance requirements. Marketing and Leasing: Advertise vacant properties, conduct open inspections, and screen potential tenants. Owner Relations: Maintain strong relationships with property owners, providing updates on property performance and addressing any concerns. Key Skills and Experience Minimum 2 years of experience in property management. Current Property Management Registration in South Australia is essential. Previous experience in a Leasing role, BDM (Business Development Manager) or management experience in Property Management is desirable. In-depth knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act 1995 (SA). Critical thinking and attention to detail. Excellent communication and client focused. Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Property Me, Console, Tapi or similar).
