Eden Ritchie Recruitment are seeking a Finance Project Officer (Disaster Recovery Works) to support the financial management and reporting of a large-scale disaster recovery program. In this pivotal role, you will ensure financial integrity, accurate cost allocation, and effective reporting across multiple recovery projects. Working closely with project and finance teams, you will provide detailed analysis, reconciliations, and advice to support timely delivery and compliance. Key Responsibilities Review transactions to ensure alignment with project scope and funding eligibility. Maintain accurate ledgers, journals, and job costing allocations. Prepare monthly financial reports and briefings for stakeholders. Liaise with internal teams and external consultants to support claims and reporting. Assist with project finalisation, cost apportionment, and asset capitalisation. About You Degree qualifications in Accounting or related discipline. Demonstrated experience in financial management and reporting within government or infrastructure projects. Sound knowledge of cost accounting and activity-based costing principles. Proficient in financial systems, databases, and spreadsheets. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
