Eden Ritchie Recruitment are seeking a Capital Projects and Fixed Assets Accountant to provide strategic accounting, financial reporting, and advisory support across capital projects and asset management functions. In this role, you will oversee financial performance and compliance throughout the lifecycle of capital works—from planning and budgeting through to construction, completion, and capitalisation. You’ll also lead asset financial reporting, ensuring integrity and alignment with contemporary accounting standards and best practice asset management frameworks. Key Responsibilities Monitor and review the financial performance of capital works programs. Maintain and reconcile the asset register, ensuring compliance with reporting standards. Coordinate asset capitalisation and disposal processes. Prepare financial statements, notes, and reconciliations for audit and reporting. Lead or contribute to annual asset revaluation activities and associated analysis. Provide professional accounting advice and financial insights to support decision-making. Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to validate and finalise project costs. About You Degree qualifications in Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline. Demonstrated experience in capital project accounting, fixed asset management, or infrastructure finance. Strong knowledge of accounting standards, capitalisation processes, and audit requirements. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise confidently across all organisational levels. High attention to detail, accuracy, and deadline management.
