This role is pivotal in shaping workforce capability, driving innovation, and supporting professional development across Defence and partner organisations. Key Responsibilities Specialist Advisory & Strategy Provide expert insurance advice tailored to Defence operational contexts Lead business strategy facilitation , coaching and mentoring programs for teams and individuals Design and deliver SES development programs and executive coaching initiatives Continuous Improvement & Capability Building Develop and implement continuous improvement frameworks across business units Facilitate individual coaching and mentoring programs to enhance performance and leadership Learning & Development Services Conduct L&D analysis , design, and development of training programs Manage learning systems and oversee implementation and administration of L&D initiatives Deliver negotiation skills training and other targeted capability programs Evaluate L&D effectiveness and drive improvements based on data and feedback Competency & Certification Lead competency assessments and support professional body sponsorship and certification pathways Promote multilingual capability through Languages Other Than English (LOTE) training and support Skills & Experience Required Proven experience in Defence, Government, or complex enterprise environments Strong background in learning and development , coaching , and strategic facilitation Demonstrated ability to manage continuous improvement programs Experience with insurance advisory in a Defence or risk-sensitive context Familiarity with LMS platforms , instructional design, and training evaluation Excellent communication skills, including proficiency in one or more LOTEs (desirable) Relevant qualifications in education, business, insurance, or organisational development
