Contract Administrator – Commercial Fit Out Projects (3–6 Month Contract) Location: Sydney Start Date: ASAP Employment Type: Contract (3–6 months) About Us We’re a small, dynamic commercial builder specialising in high-quality office and retail fit outs. With several exciting projects underway, we’re looking for an experienced Contract Administrator to join our team on a short-term contract basis. About the Role Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in the successful delivery of fast-paced commercial fit out projects. This is a hands-on role that requires strong commercial acumen, attention to detail, and the ability to hit the ground running. Key Responsibilities: Prepare, review and manage subcontracts, purchase orders, and variations Assist with project budgets, cost tracking, and progress claims Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients Manage project documentation and ensure compliance with company procedures Support the project team with administrative and financial project requirements About You: Proven experience as a Contract Administrator in commercial construction or fit out projects Strong understanding of contract and procurement processes Excellent communication and negotiation skills Highly organised with great attention to detail Able to work independently in a small, close-knit team environment Available for an immediate start What We Offer: 3–6 month contract with the potential for extension Immediate start on active projects Collaborative, supportive team culture Exposure to a variety of commercial fit out works If you’re ready to jump straight into exciting projects and contribute to a busy team, we’d love to hear from you.
