Lead and manage the team, ensuring safe and efficient asset maintenance Working on the tools alongside the team (yes, this is a hands-on role) Ensure compliance with OEM specifications and legislative requirements at all times Drive team efficiencies and promote a culture of continuous improvement Monitor and maintain team performance to meet both strategic and operational goals Foster a positive team environment through strong communication, guidance, and support Conducting routine maintenance and repairs on heavy diesel machinery, including American and European trucks and trailers Ordering and replacing parts as needed, keeping accurate records of work performed and parts used Maintaining a safe and clean work environment Communicating effectively with Workshop Manager, Supervisors and other team members Our Desired Key Skills and Experience: Australian or NZ recognised Trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic Unrestricted Australian Working Rights Demonstrated experience working on heavy diesel vehicles Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and drive team outcomes High level of professionalism and integrity in all work interactions Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment Commitment to workplace safety Working at Toll At Toll, we're proud to be a leading integrated logistics provider in the Asia Pacific region.
