Job Description Join NCS Australia as a Platform Engineer focused on the Control Plane for our landmark "Telco of the Future" program. This is a high-impact, client-facing role where you will design, build, and operate the central nervous system for our entire container platform. You will be at the heart of the solution, using a modern stack centered on AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), and Golang to create a scalable, secure, and fully automated platform. Your mission is to build the intelligent control plane that manages the platform as a service. This isn't just about maintaining infrastructure; it's about engineering the robust, self-healing, and automated logic that bridges the gap between development and operations. Your work will directly empower client product teams to move with speed and confidence, knowing the platform's core functions—from networking to security and deployment—are codified and managed. This impact is delivered through deep technical ownership. You will be building custom Golang operators to act as the "brain" of the control plane, automating complex cloud and Kubernetes resource management. You will architect and provision secure EKS clusters, develop REST APIs to power GitOps workflows, and define the GitOps standards (Argo CD, Kustomize) that govern the entire ecosystem.
