This role is hands‑on and impact‑focused, identifying and assessing security risks across a wide range of Telstra initiatives. The position can be based anywhere in Australia. What You’ll Do Lead cyber security risk assessments across Telstra projects Collaborate with project teams to identify and address security gaps Communicate complex technical issues in clear business terms Make informed decisions and manage stakeholder expectations Contribute to the uplift of team processes and engagement models About You 10 years of experience in a cyber security related role (architecture, testing, assurance) Proven ability to perform hands‑on technical risk assessments Strong understanding of standards such as ISO, PCI, NIST, and E8 Ability to translate technical risks in context and clearly communicate them to business stakeholders Experience working across large and complex environments When you join our team, you become part of a welcoming and inclusive community where everyone is respected, valued and celebrated.
