Job Description Summary In this role, you will work closely with customers to understand and define their requirements, develop technical proposals, and implement GE Vernova digital solutions. You will act as the technical lead, as well as an individual contributor, on these engagements, contributing to software implementation, troubleshooting, customizations, upgrades, and integration into customer systems while balancing scope versus project time and resource commitments. You'll lead the design and delivery of GEV GridOS integration solutions across diverse systems, applications, and platforms - ensuring seamless data flow across business applications and services. As an integration specialist, you'll mentor GEV technical engineers, champion best practices, and be involved hands-on to ensure seamless, secure, and scalable integrations. You'll partner closely with customers and cross-functional teams to deliver successful outcomes and exceptional customer satisfaction. Job Responsibilities Serve as a technical leader or mentor on complex, integrated customer implementations, either within individual project teams and/or cross-organizationally Provide expert knowledge and experience to collaborate with the customer to identify technical requirements and estimate the technical effort required to implement complex software solutions Contribute to technical analysis activities, such as requirements gathering and gap analysis of user requirements Write project documentation in accordance with deliverables, including detailed design specifications as per customer requirements Collaborate with Project Managers, Solution Leads, DevOps and Services Consultants throughout the implementation of a project to identify and scope application changes while adhering to the change management process Engage throughout the full lifecycle of assigned projects, influencing decisions on design and functionality Effectively leverage product capabilities, driving standardization, limiting customization, and maximizing reuse of content developed for previous solutions. Interact with Product Development Teams, Commercial Teams, Customers, Solution Providers (Partner / Integrators), and other cross-functional teams as required for the solution and implement processes to ensure best use of GEV Vernova products and services. Skills and Qualification Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, software engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution. 10 years of experience in industrial systems related field. 10 years of experience in software analysis, design, methodology, implementation, and architecture. Software skills in software analysis, design, methodology, and architecture. Programming experience in software development with Kotlin or Java programming language. Preferred experience with MuleSoft Anypoint, SNnowflake, Boomi or similar Experience with SOAP, REST, Postman or other API technologies Experience with SQL, PLSQL, ODBC, MSSQL or other data query languages. Preferred experience with Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, RedPanda or similar. Experience with Apache Maven. Experience with tools like Eclipse, IntelliJ or Jenkins Experience with data extraction and conversion Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and container orchestration using Kubernetes. Demonstrate ability to learn new software development practices, languages, and tools. Collaborate using tools like Jira and Confluence for efficient project management and communication. Experience with enterprise software and large distributed systems. Experience in agile development environments and familiarity with Lean/Agile methodologies, committed to maintaining the highest standards of service quality in all aspects of project delivery. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, and experience working with global teams and partners. Strong spoken and written English language skills. Understand customers' needs in an industrial setting. Can effectively share/communicate complex technical topics with various levels of audience.
