PPS Water Group is expanding, and we’re looking for experienced Poly Welders with a strong Mobile Plant Operating background to join our exciting new construction project in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. About the Role This is a versatile position, involving the operation of our large fleet of poly welding equipment, skid steer and loader operating, high risk work, as well as hands on assistance supporting the wider team where required. It is essential the successful applicant prioritises safety and maintains a clear understanding of safe systems of work and associated safety protocols. Key responsibilities Ensuring areas are safely setup and visual inspections are completed prior to commencing work. Make sure machines are operated correctly and maintained to high standard and condition. Competently weld pipes according to the work packs, engineering or site specifications. Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, and schematics to determine the layout and installation of piping systems. Perform pressure tests and leak tests on installed pipe systems to verify their integrity and identify any potential issues Ensure compliance with safety procedures and guidelines to maintain safe working environment for themselves and other workers. Produce accurate daily reports. Work independently or collaborate as part of a team, depending on the project requirement. About You Valid Australian Driver's Licence ( HR Class Desirable).
