About the Role PPS Water Group are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our diverse projects teams. Key responsibilities Project Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, manage timelines, budgets, resources, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Leadership & Team Management: Provide clear expectations, motivate team members, and create a positive work environment. Effectively delegate tasks and manage team performance. Contract & Commercial Management: Negotiate contract terms, manage financial/cost controls, track project costs, handle variations, and ensure accurate financial status at handover. Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and conduct strategic, compliance, operational, financial, and reputation risk analysis. Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with team members, stakeholders, and senior management. Ensure everyone is informed of progress, issues, and changes. Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures and ensure projects meet or exceed expectations. Oversee contracts with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely, quality delivery. Documentation & Reporting: Ensure the preparation of project documentation, conduct periodic internal project reporting, and prepare regular progress reports for senior management and stakeholders. About You 7-10 years Proven Project Manager experience Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent experience Experience in Civil, Piping and Earthworks Experience with Tier 1 and Tier 2 Contractors Minium project cost of $50 million with large direct workforce Knowledge of current Work Health & Safety legislation and regulations Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and D&A screen Construction White Card Valid Driver's Licence National Police Clearance (desirable, not mandatory) Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islanders are strongly encouraged to apply.
