Head of Operations WOW Recruitment have partnered with a thriving solar business preparing for growth, seeking a Head of Operations to develop it's processes and people. With rapid team growth, we're searching for a people-first, hands-on and technically capable Head of Operations to build the operational engine that will support national expansion. This role will focus on structure, systems, processes, and people. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced start up environments, loves solving operational inefficiencies, and enjoys rolling up their sleeves to execute meaningful change. Mapping, refining and automating SOPs to reduce manual work and build scalable, efficient workflows. Designing and improving system architecture across their CRM, internal tools, dashboards and integrations. Restructuring and supporting the operations team to ensure alignment, clarity, and better cross-functional performance. Partnering closely with the Service Delivery Manager to streamline installations and project delivery. Driving adoption of better reporting, data flows, and operational visibility. Coaching and developing leaders, closing gaps, and supporting a smoother operational cadence. Working with suppliers, stakeholders, and HR to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. You Are A strategic operational leader who can both build strategy and execute it. Technically strong across CRM optimisation, workflow automation, API connections, dashboards, and data-driven decision-making. Experienced in fast-growth environments ideally in a scale-up, renewable energy, construction, electrical, or service delivery setting. Someone with exposure to operational tech and process design; preferably in solar or electrical engineering. Comfortable stepping into the detail, solving problems quickly, and working in a fast paced business. Strong people leadership skills - can uplift capability where gaps exist. Someone who enjoys agile execution, and thrives in environments where systems are evolving.
