Your responsibilities:- Lead solution design, system documentation and technical specifications, ensuring that development, unit testing and maintenance meets QSS strategic direction.- Ensure solutions are developed, maintained and improved in accordance with best practice frameworks, including relevant security standards and methodologies.- Identifying areas of opportunity to reduce technical debt and support the improvement of new and existing applications and solutions.- Identify capability needs and evaluate team performance, mentoring and providing technical leadership in the delivery of end-to-end platform maintenance, fixes and enhancements.- Ensure adherence to organisational governance and team processes and procedures across the software development lifecycle.- Liaise and negotiate with stakeholders to ensure accurate estimation and appropriate resourcing for the development and implementation of agreed scope.What we are looking for:- Proven experience designing, governing and developing innovative and secure solutions for stakeholders leveraging out of the box functionality in the ServiceNow platform.- Adept at creating and maintaining clear, comprehensive technical documentation, ensuring well-documented solutions.- Proven experience with current and emerging programming languages including java-script, Angular js, XML, Jelly, HTML, SQL, CSS and/or integration technologies such as API and Web Services.- Experience leading a diverse team; uplifting capability, mentoring and managing multiple priorities, following methodologies and frameworks such as Agile and ITIL.- Your ability to influence using your extensive written and verbal communication skills, including developing and designing presentations, documents, policies and procedures.- Your ability to build and sustain collaborative working relationships with stakeholders, readily sharing your knowledge and experience with others, displaying superior relationship management, communication and negotiation skillsHighly desirable:- Experience with integration technologies such as API and Web Services.- Knowledge of Information Security principles.Role requirements:- Minimum 5 years' experience developing and designing ServiceNow solutions in a senior capacity.- Previous experience leading a team in an agile environment.- ITIL4 foundation certification or equivalent.Applications to remain current for 12 months.
