We are looking for a Program Officer to join the Policy an Assurance, Government Records (PAGR) branch in this busy and rewarding role. The PAGR team is responsible for provision of standards, policies, guidelines and advice about government records management to approximately 500 public authorities in Queensland under the Public Records Act 2023. This includes requiring public records in all formats are created, kept and maintained in accordance with legislative requirements. The primary purpose of the Program Officer role is to provide operational and project support to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the PAGR team As Program Officer you will: Manage and respond to records management queries from client agencies Assist with the enhancement, maintenance and monitoring of recordkeeping website content and SharePoint site resources including records management advice, policies, FAQ's, guidelines and reference material Coordinate and assist in the planning and delivery of webinars and large meetings, including the use of Microsoft Teams and other relevant online forum technologies Conduct analysis and produce reports to assist the monitoring and evaluation of records management program activities Prepare or contribute to the preparation of timely and well-researched DG and ministerial briefing notes, estimate briefs, submissions and presentations on records management issues Assist in the development and implementation of records management policy options and advice, including training materials. Liaise and collaborate with internal teams, other government agencies, and relevant non-government organisations, on records management issues, fostering positive stakeholders relationships. Fulfill all records management responsibilities in accordance with relevant policies, standards and guidelines. Work effectively and cooperatively with colleagues to promote a culture of support, accountability and achievement. Undertake other duties as directed by the Managers PAGR and Director PAGR.
