Role: Waste Collection Team Leader Location: Rockingham Hourly Rate: $60 p/h penalties (Perm rate will be $96,700 annually) Days & Hours: Monday - Friday Job Type: Temp to Perm Duration: Ongoing Skills, Knowledge and Experience Sound time management and organisational skills Well-developed employee relations and interpersonal skills Sound leadership skills (Leading a team of 15 - 18 people) High level conflict resolution skills Well-developed written and verbal communication skills Ability to work with limited supervision in a team environment Sound knowledge of safety policies, worksite safety plans and traffic regulations Knowledge of maintenance procedures for waste plant and bins Knowledge of waste management practices, including a high level of skill in the operation of waste collection plant Considerable experience and expertise of the local government operations Experience in coordinating, supervising or leading teams in waste services Experience in a customer service related area Considerable experience developing WHS and worksite safety plans and procedures Considerable experience in the operation and maintenance of waste collection plant The trucks will be mainly side arm trucks and rear lift trucks Qualifications, Certifications and Licences Relevant qualifications in front line management Current 'HR' class driver's licence Progressing towards Certificate III in Waste Driving Operations (Desirable) Progressing towards Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (Desirable) Senior First Aid Certificate (Desirable) If you meet the above criteria and are interested in this job role, apply now.
