MARS Recruitment is looking to recruit a highly organised Procurement & Project Administrator for a significant mining project. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced project team supporting site activity. This initial 3-month contract comes with strong potential for extension and offers flexible working hours Key Responsibilities In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring seamless procurement, logistics, and administrative support for the project, including: Raise purchase orders for materials, equipment, and services required for the project Monitor and process purchase orders, ensuring accurate conversion and timely issue to suppliers Manage daily receipting, purchasing, and coordination of goods, including storage and issue resolution Follow up overdue purchase orders and work with suppliers to meet expected delivery dates Coordinate freight logistics (air, road, and courier bookings), maintaining delivery registers Complete daily stock issue paperwork from stores to site Support continuous improvement initiatives across purchasing, stores, and inventory processes Build effective working relationships with site personnel and suppliers to ensure efficient delivery of goods and services Manage the commercial inbox and respond to queries as required Maintain the insurance database with accurate records and updates Provide ad hoc support to the Commercial Lead To succeed in this role, you will bring: Strong purchasing or procurement administration experience Excellent organisational and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment A proactive approach and willingness to support a broad range of tasks Experience in mining or heavy industry (advantageous but not essential Apply Now This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing project and make a real impact If you're available immediately and looking for a rewarding role with flexibility, we'd love to hear from you Click Apply Now or contact Claudia.jordan@marsrecruitment.com.au for a confidential discussion
