Overview: Part-time 0.5 FTE , Fixed Term position for 12 months Salary HEW 3 17% Superannuation and Flexible Working Arrangements Based at the Melbourne CBD campus, but may be required to work and/or be based at other campuses of the University About You The position of Graphic Designer is responsible for undertaking graphic design, communications and engagement activities to support the Property Services Group. The role will provide opportunities to be involved in a range of graphic design projects across both digital and print media for internal and external stakeholders. This role is one of a community of student roles within Property Services, across areas including in Capital Works Projects and an Engagement Officer. The role will be supported with both mentoring within the Property team and provision of opportunities to build a portfolio of experience and connections. This is a part-time 0.5 FTE position (18 hours per week ) and w e are seeking students who are currently studying in the graphic design field . To be successful in this position, you wi ll have: Knowledge of graphic design principles and experience in applying them. Knowledge of and experience using Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite and other presentation software. Ability to think and translate concepts in an innovative way. Ability to develop and apply templates and design guidelines. Ability to develop and apply design tools and assets. Strong communication and organisational skills, and high level of digital literacy. Willingness to work independently with a high level of autonomy and flexibility in a fast-paced and supportive environment. About the Portfolio Property Services is located in the Operations Portfolio which is the services nucleus of RMIT and the focus for the development of the finance, people development infrastructure and systems that provide administrative capacity to the University. Property Services has approximately 100 staff and has the responsibility to operate, maintain and enhance the buildings owned and leased by RMIT University, oversee construction projects and ensure the provision of physical facilities services. Property Services is responsibility for a Property Portfolio of $2.9b with an operating budget in excess of $80M and prospective capital projects of over $100M per annum for the next few years in Melbourne and Vietnam.
