Your Role As the HR Advisor, you will be the glue between our site-based and office-based teams, providing trusted HR support across recruitment, employee relations, and workforce development. You will work closely with the Executive Director, who brings fresh ideas and evolving priorities, so flexibility and strong communication are key. Your key responsibilities will include: Providing generalist HR advice and guidance to leaders and employees across multiple sites Managing end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and induction processes Supporting employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary processes Maintaining accurate HR documentation, records, and compliance reporting Coordinating training and assisting with policy updates and process improvement initiatives Ad hoc project support as required Your Profile You are an adaptable and culturally aware HR professional who thrives in a fast-moving environment. You will enjoy building relationships across diverse teams and have the confidence to manage day-to-day HR matters independently. To be successful, you will bring: Prior experience in a generalist HR role Strong understanding of Australian employment law, awards, and Fair Work obligations Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to pivot when priorities change Proven ability to work autonomously and maintain professionalism under pressure Willingness to travel occasionally to remote site locations Highly Regarded: HR qualification (Certificate IV, Diploma, or Degree) Mandarin language skills (written or spoken) Experience working within multicultural organisations An understanding of cultural nuances and the ability to navigate differences respectfully and effectively will be critical to your success in this role.
