Resolve Recruit is partnering with a leading Commonwealth Government agency to find a highly skilled Backup and Storage Server Enginee r. Our client operates at the forefront of global government service delivery, supporting critical operations through world-class technology platforms and digital capabilities. This role offers the opportunity to lead the refresh of ageing infrastructure and implement contemporary backup and data protection solutions across a complex, virtualised global network. As a Backup and Storage Server Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and supporting existing backup solutions, delivering technical projects and providing end-to-end solutions for server and storage infrastructure. You will work with automated deployments across Windows Server, VMware and Nutanix environments, whilst modernising backup platforms. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate with peer teams and vendors to deliver quality outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Undertake technical deliverables as a recognised senior specialist in backup and storage solutions Implement and support Commvault, Dell Data Protection and cloud-based backup solutions Lead projects to modernise and refresh contemporary backup and data protection platforms Implement and support Microsoft Server solutions and virtualised server environments across a global network Provide end-to-end technical solutions , including system changes, updates, upgrades and relocations Compile technical documentation Key Experience and Skills: Demonstrated experience managing complex backup and storage environments , including cloud backup solutions High-level knowledge and experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2019 and 2022 in enterprise environments Proven experience with virtualisation technologies , including VMware and Nutanix Ability to analyse and resolve complex enterprise system hardware and software problems Strong coordination and organisational skills with high attention to detail and excellent communication abilities If you're ready to bring your expertise as a Backup and Storage Server Engineer to a world-class government organisation supporting critical global operations, we'd love to hear from you!
