PCCS has grown fast, with sites across multiple regions, funders, and programs, and the market around us has become increasingly noisy and unpredictable. At the same time, ASPIRE and our university partnerships are gaining national traction, and my focus as CEO needs to stay on strategy, relationships, research, and system change. To do that well, we need a strong, steady operational leader who can bring structure, calm, and follow-through. Someone who can take what we’ve built and make it work smoothly day to day, across people, systems, contracts, and culture, while protecting the values that make PCCS unique. The COO will be the person who turns intent into action, keeps the trains running, and ensures we deliver on our commitments across all fronts: financially, operationally, and culturally. The right candidate will bring clarity, calm, and accountability, helping us move from reactive to proactive, and from busy to balanced, giving the CEO space to focus on partnerships, advocacy, and innovation while knowing the organisation is solid, kind, and performing well. This is more than about managing operations, it is about helping us build a stronger, more capable, and more confident organisation that stays true to its values while delivering real impact. What We’re Looking For We’re looking for a commercially savvy, values‑driven leader who can hold both the business and the heart of the organisation at the same time. Understands contracts, budgets, and performance and can translate them into clear expectations and good practice. Builds capability, helping people grow. Leads with kindness, humility, and accountability. Brings solutions and acts on what needs doing without added complexity. Keeps things steady and professional, even when the environment isn’t. Works alongside the CEO as a trusted, honest, and capable partner. Develops future leaders, aligns teams, and creates confidence through good communication. Is comfortable using digital tools, data, and evidence to guide decisions. In short: someone grounded, reliable, and kind, who knows how to get things done and make others better at what they do.
