About the Role As the Facilities Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of a Federal Government site. Working closely with the Facilities Manager, you will ensure the smooth coordination of maintenance, compliance, vendor management, and service delivery. This position requires a proactive and customer-focused professional who can manage multiple priorities, liaise confidently with stakeholders, and maintain accurate systems and records. The role also contributes to the organisation's commitment to continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and high service standards. Key Responsibilities Provide administrative and operational support to the Facilities Manager across maintenance, procurement, finance, and vendor management. Oversee service requests, allocate work to contractors, and ensure all tasks are completed on time and within budget. Maintain compliance documentation and ensure statutory and industry requirements are met. Support contractor inductions and training processes. Manage building condition data and coordinate maintenance activities to maintain asset integrity. Deliver high-quality customer service to clients and contractors, ensuring expectations are met or exceeded. Monitor financial operations and assist in meeting performance and control targets. Contribute to process improvement initiatives and service delivery efficiencies. Key Requirements Experience in facilities administration or a related field. Strong understanding of work health and safety requirements. Proficient computer and systems skills (FM software knowledge advantageous). Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
