Full time, continuing position Exciting opportunity to lead and establish strategic initiatives, guiding senior leaders and aligning priorities with institutional strategy Competitive remuneration package including 17% superannuation About the opportunity As the Program Director, Delivery and Enablement , you will provide overall program management for the establishment and implementation of large-scale strategic initiatives within the Education and Students Portfolio. You will oversee the prioritisation, organisation, and delivery of multiple projects, ensuring effective collaboration and alignment of teams and resources to achieve program objectives. You will work closely with senior leaders to drive programs that enhance educational quality, operational excellence, and institutional impact. Providing high-level strategic oversight, you will ensure initiatives are delivered effectively, efficiently, and in alignment with the University’s overarching goals. You will also provide leadership and direction to a team of professionals, managing performance, development, and delivery outcomes. Your key responsibilities will be to: work with a dynamic team, reporting to the Executive Director, Delivery & Enablement establish and manage large strategic projects, including defining structure, roles, and performance indicators develop and implement program strategies, work plans, and project management methodologies to ensure efficient and consistent execution optimise resource allocation across projects, including financial, personnel, and technology resources, to support delivery within budget provide project management leadership and guidance to ensure clear project plans, milestones, and deliverables manage program governance, reporting, and risk mitigation to monitor progress, manage scope, and ensure quality assurance collaborate with stakeholders and project teams to achieve project deliverables and foster effective coordination monitor program financials against budget and identify or coordinate external funding opportunities to support projects lead, manage, and coordinate project staff, including performance management, coaching, and recruitment processes undertake other duties and projects appropriate to the classification level as required About you tertiary qualifications and/or extensive relevant experience in a related field senior leadership experience in large, complex organisations with deep knowledge of the higher education sector proven ability to lead strategic projects and deliver high-quality service in multi-stakeholder environments strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess risks, benefits, and opportunities effectively exceptional relationship-building, negotiation and influencing skills with senior internal and external stakeholders strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and sound decision-making excellent communication, collaboration, and organisational capability Sponsorship / work rights for Australia You must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment to be eligible to apply.
