Senior Contract Administrator - Major Building & Infrastructure Projects We're partnering with a highly respected national builder delivering landmark projects across commercial, industrial, and infrastructure sectors. With a strong pipeline of upcoming developments and a focus on long-term growth, this is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Contract Administrator to take ownership of project outcomes while working alongside an experienced leadership team. Role Overview You'll play a key part in the commercial and financial management of large-scale projects, ensuring compliance, cost control, and contractual performance. Working closely with Project Managers and Commercial Managers, you'll support the full project lifecycle - from procurement and contract administration through to closeout and final accounts. Key Responsibilities Administer head and subcontract agreements, including claims, variations, and payment assessments. Prepare and review budgets, forecasts, and cost reports to support commercial decision-making. Oversee procurement, tender evaluation, and subcontract negotiations. Manage progress claims, contract correspondence, and dispute resolution processes. Monitor cash flow, risk, and cost performance across project delivery. Prepare monthly financial and commercial reports for internal and external stakeholders. Support ongoing process improvement to strengthen commercial systems and compliance. Key Requirements Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field. 5 years' experience in contract administration or commercial management, ideally within large-scale building or infrastructure projects. Sound understanding of major contract forms (AS2124, AS4000, NEC, etc.). Strong financial and commercial acumen with high attention to detail. Proficiency in contract management and cost control systems (e.g., Jobpac, Cheops, or similar). Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
