This role is for an experienced Structural Engineer (high Senior or Associate level) who’s ready to step into broader leadership, to take full commercial and technical ownership of projects, people within a well-regarded consulting practice. The role You’ll lead project delivery across a range of structural work; commercial, institutional, and complex architectural projects - while mentoring engineers and contributing to strategy and client relationships. It’s a project leadership role in the truest sense: guiding technical outcomes, supporting your team, and helping shape the business for the long term. No need for Etabs day to day, just the ability to review and interpret the results and work of others and make sure it aligns with the grand plan. Key aspects include: Leading structural design and delivery across multiple projects Providing technical review, coaching and direction for project teams Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, architects, and contractors Contributing to business planning and development activities Ensuring projects are profitable, practical, and delivered to a high standard About you You’re a Chartered (or nearly Chartered) Structural Engineer with solid consulting experience, ideally someone who’s already managing a small project team or major projects. You value precision, efficiency, and integrity in your work. You’ve built a reputation as someone who’s dependable under pressure, commercially aware, and a genuine mentor to younger engineers. You want a position where you can lead with confidence, stay technically engaged, and have a real say in how things are done. You're in a similar role now, in SA, NSW, WA, QLD or Vic (maybe NT?) and want more for your career. You'll be remunerated according to skill, we envisage this will be between $120k and $160k p/a plus Super. Why this opportunity?
