Job Title Service Technicians – Electrical x 4 Location of Project Pilbara Pay rate & Roster $65 -$72 flat per hour | 2:2 roster Hours of work per day /week 14 days at 12 hours paid per day. $10,920 gross fortnight - minimum Prospective job Length Ongoing FIFO / DIDO / Local FIFO or local to Karratha Accommodation etc Mainly all at RIO Tinto sites Scope of works Perth to Karratha – Karratha to multiple mine site camps around the Pilbara – mainly RIO Tinto. Reporting to the Branch Manager – Karratha, on arrival will be given the service route for the 14 days. This includes Service, Maintenance and at times, emergency breakdowns requirements Servicing and maintenance of diesel generators, including changing oil, oil filters, fuel filters and conduct basic fault finding on electrical systems and transfer switches. Generators vary from 40kVA to 1000kVA. Requirements for the role Ability to read schematic drawings Be able to, and enjoy working autonomously Safety Focused – follow JHA’s and complete take 5’s Self-motivated Safe Driver – exp driving 4WD on remote or country roads Excellent communication skills – be able to report on findings, write service reports using iPad or laptop. Familiar with ComAp Controllers, alternators and EOM Engines MUST HAVE: Full C Class license (& confident driving outback roads autonomously) Full WA A Grade Electrical License, LVR/CPR & First aid, 4WD course Ability to pass full medicals Rio Tinto inductions preferred though not essential.
