As a Facilities Leading Hand, you’ll guide a team of skilled staff and contractors to keep our parks in working order with maintenance, repairs and construction projects. Key Responsibilities Ready to roll up your sleeves, lead the action and keep out park’s maintenance in order? You’ll be: • Leading the team by overseeing construction, maintenance and theming to the highest standard • Planning, coordinating, and managing maintenance projects and building works • Assisting with budget management, purchase requisitions and purchase order receipts • Conducting inspections to ensure VRTP standards and compliance requirements are met • Coach and guide your team by training, mentoring, coordinating and fostering a positive and professional work environment • Following all safety protocols and compliance training What We’re Looking For Grab your toolkit, put on your leaderships hat on and bring your sense of adventure. You’ll bring: • Certificate III in Carpentry is essential, additional trade qualifications are advantageous • Construction White Card is essential • Forklift, Yellow Card, and Elevated Work Platform over 11 meters is advantageous • Proven experience in building maintenance, construction and theming • Strong safety and compliance knowledge • Ability to lead and coordinate a team in a fast-paced, high traffic environment • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CMMS, SAP and Maximo is desirable • Experience with budget management, rostering and labour management Why You’ll Love It You’ll be at the heart of where the magic happens, behind the scenes of our world-class attractions!
