Our client runs a busy, well-known hair salon in Canberra and is seeking a friendly and capable individual to assist with day-to-day administration, payroll, accounts, travel bookings, and general organisation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes. What You'll Be Doing Managing the salon inbox and keeping on top of important emails Collecting and entering staff timesheets into Deputy Processing payments and handling accounts payable/receivable (business and personal) Using Xero and supporting platforms like Dext or Hubdoc Generating reports through Kitomba (staff leave, turnover projections, monthly comparisons) Maintaining staff files and managing documents via DocuSign Coordinating the Salon Director's diary, appointments, and travel bookings Assisting with stocktakes and other day-to-day operational tasks Helping streamline salon systems and improve efficiency About You You are positive, trustworthy, and detail oriented. You're comfortable juggling multiple priorities and always happy to lend a hand.
