The Employer & the Role Our clients operate a station near Scone, NSW, where they specialise in producing premium grass-fed Angus cattle across approximately 7,200 hectares set amongst rolling hills and rivers. This family-owned business has a close-knit team and a strong track record of staff retention. They prioritise fostering a supportive work environment and show respect for their team and the land they manage. They are currently seeking a full-time gardener who will be responsible for maintaining a large kitchen garden as well as beautifully maintained seasonal beds and expansive lawns. Your responsibilities will be varied with tasks such as: planning and planting seasonal garden beds, including vegetables weeding and spraying mowing and maintaining the lawn and edges trimming hedges maintaining the pool watering and blowing leaves cleaning and basic maintenance of garden tools and machinery general grounds maintenance Efficient irrigation systems are already in place, and well-maintained equipment and machinery will be available for your use. You will have access to your own buggy, and a full-time assistant gardener will be provided to support you. Additionally, extra staff can be hired during busy periods, and there may also be opportunities for work for a partner. The Offer The successful candidate will negotiate a generous salary and be supplied with a lovely north-facing two-bedroom cottage on the farm with a fireplace and reverse-cycle air conditioning; utilities are also included. You will be just 40 minutes from the charming rural town of Scone, which has various supermarkets, dining options, and health services. If you would like to take a boat out on the weekends, Glenbawn Dam is just 20 minutes away. The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone with a genuine love of gardening, the outdoors and the station lifestyle. Ideally, you will have prior experience with vegetable gardening and English-style gardens, with the following skills and attributes.
