Description Job Purpose: We are seeking a highly motivated day shift Transport Operations Supervisor to lead our transport team and ensure the safe, efficient, and customer-focused execution of daily operations. This role will oversee the in-house transport function, managing both people and performance to deliver operational excellence and commercial results. You’ll play a key role in ensuring safety and compliance, optimising transport activities, and maintaining strong relationships with internal teams, customers, and subcontractors. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily transport operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and budget compliance. Manage fleet, allocators, and in-house drivers to meet operational and customer requirements. Ensure compliance with NHVR regulations and DP World safety standards. Review and approve transport invoices, maintaining 100% accuracy. Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing, accountable transport team. Act as TMS super user, driving continuous improvement and system implementation. Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 5 year’s experience in transport operations with proven team leadership. Strong knowledge of container transport and Chain of Responsibility. Skilled in Transport Management Systems (TMS); familiarity with 1-Stop advantageous. Excellent planning, organisation, and problem-solving abilities. High attention to detail with a customer-focused, results-driven mindset. Effective communicator able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
