Skills, Duties, and Responsibilities: Decorate cakes to our high-quality standards Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes Preparation of batter for muffins, cupcakes & types of cakes Preparing fillings, icing, glaze, or cream and decoration. Collaborate with the team to develop innovative offerings Operate baking and kitchen equipment Ensure quality of finished products by checking them for taste and presentation Maintain a clean and sanitary work area To be successful you will need the following: At least 2 years of relevant experience including muffins, cupcakes & large cakes as a pastrycook Be experienced in decorating techniques and willing to learn more in line with operating procedures Previous experience with piping and decorating techniques to a high standard Have an creative flair to assist the team in creating new flavours and products Fast, efficient and love a fast paced work environment The ability to be organised to complete daily tasks Be willing to follow instructions and work as part of a team Must be a fast learner with a positive attitude This position is day shifts only providing a work life balance.
