The Opportunity We're looking for a proactive, highly organised Personal Assistant ready for a dynamic challenge. You will be directly supporting two leading surgeons, managing their practices and patient journey from consultation through to post-operative care. This role requires a dedicated professional to act as the central coordinator, ensuring a seamless and highly efficient practice environment. Your expertise will guarantee precision across all complex clinical and financial administration. Key areas of responsibility include: Dual Practice Management: Expertly managing the demanding schedules, operating lists, and patient coordination for two specialist surgeons. Patient Administration & Triage: Handling consulting sessions, meticulous appointment scheduling, and professionally triaging calls and patient inquiries with an emphasis on customer service. Surgical Coordination: Meticulously managing complex operating lists, ensuring perfect coordination with hospitals, anaesthetists, equipment suppliers, and all necessary personnel for timely and accurate procedures. Financial & Compliance: Managing all practice finances, including invoicing, debt collection, and complex liaison with Medicare, health funds, insurance providers, and RTWSA to minimise claim rejections and delays. Process Efficiency: Maintaining the practice management system with impeccable accuracy and actively contributing to broader business administration and crucial process improvement projects across OSA. What You Will Bring We are looking for a highly capable individual with outstanding dedication and organisational finesse. A minimum of twelve months experience in a similar role. Proficiency with the Microsoft suite and accurate Typing skills ( wpm). Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a proven Customer Focus. The desire to embody the OSA values of Care, Professionalism, Communication, and Community. Experience with medical terminology, healthcare software, and familiarity with Medicare/health fund schedules is highly desirable but not essential.
