Aspect Personnel have been engaged by a local Council based in the Western suburbs, to recruit an experienced Environmental Health Officer. The role is a band 6 level position and will be a short term backfill contract for an initial 1 month period. Your Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough inspections of premises to prevent risk associated with food storage and preparation Ensure all public health businesses within the municipality are adhering to the relevant legislation Ensure premises that do not meet their legislative obligations upon inspection, are managed effectively Issue notices where applicable. As the ideal candidate, you will have: Solid, prior experience as an EHO for a Local Council in Victoria A Bachelor of Health Science or other relevant tertiary qualification Strong food inspection background A thorough knowledge of the legislation that governs all areas of Environmental Health Exceptional communication and report writing skills A current Victorian Drivers' License If you are interested, please apply using the link below.
