About the Role We’re looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Network Scheduler to join our Planning and Scheduling team at Dysons. In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the efficiency of our public transport schedules to meet legislative, contractual, and operational requirements. Working closely with the Scheduling Lead and operations teams, you’ll help ensure our network schedules are optimised for performance, cost-efficiency, and driver well-being. You’ll also contribute to broader business growth by using your creativity and analytical expertise to identify improvements across our current and prospective networks that enhance operational performance, customer experience, and long-term sustainability. Your day-to-day work will involve: • Developing and reviewing timetables, vehicle schedules, and rosters across multiple contract types. • Measuring schedule performance against key metrics and budgets. • Collaborating with operational leaders to identify continuous improvement opportunities. • Supporting service adjustments, tender submissions, and business projects. • Maintaining accurate data and system configuration across Austrics and associated platforms. • Providing data insights and reports to optimise driver establishments, vehicle requirements, and service delivery. About You If you’re an analytical thinker with a passion for operational excellence and data-informed decision making, this role is for you! You will also ideally bring: • A tertiary qualification in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field (advantageous) • 2 years’ experience in service planning or public transport scheduling. • Demonstrated experience in using scheduling software, including configuration and administration. • Sound understanding of National Heavy Vehicle legislation, fatigue management, and relevant industrial agreements. • Excellent data analysis and reporting skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
